Questions from Bridgewater parents.
Do you teach taekwondo or karate?
Taekwondo, blended with kickboxing-based hand strikes. Children who come from a karate background will recognize the stances, blocks, and colored belts.
Do you offer kickboxing for kids?
Kickboxing-style punches and pad work are part of every kids class. Adults train in their own separate program.
Is self-defense part of class?
Yes. Children practice distance, blocking, and using their voice, and coaches teach calm first, so a child knows how to walk away before anything else.
Which class is right for a 10-year-old?
Leaders, for ages 10 to 11. It meets every weekday at 6:55 PM, which leaves time for the drive down Route 287 after dinner.
