The short answer: Warrior does not have a studio in Middlesex Borough. Our Dunellen studio is the closest one, 2.5 miles up Route 28 and about 5 minutes from the middle of the borough. It teaches kids martial arts for ages 18 months to 11, seven days a week, and the first class is free.

Where is the studio?

Warrior Dunellen is at 177 North Ave, Dunellen, NJ 08812, right next to Family Dollar. The phone number is 848-280-7650, and the studio is rated 4.9 from 309 Google reviews. From Middlesex, take Bound Brook Road (Route 28) east. It turns into North Avenue when you cross into Dunellen, and the studio is less than half a mile after that. Can two children of different ages train on the same trip?

Yes. On Wednesdays, Mini Warriors (ages 3 to 4) starts at 4:10 PM and Warriors (ages 7 to 9) follows at 5:05 PM, so both children can train in one trip.

Which class fits my child's age?

Every class is 45 minutes, and children train only with kids their own age.

  • Mighty Warriors (18 months to 2): a parent is on the mat the whole time.
  • Mini Warriors (3 to 4): a parent is on the mat the whole time.
  • Rising Warriors (5 to 6)
  • Warriors (7 to 9)
  • Leaders (10 to 11): every weekday at 6:55 PM.

What do you teach?

Warrior teaches taekwondo kicks and kickboxing-based hand strikes, done on pads that a partner or coach holds. Children move up through colored belts. Every class also covers a life skill like respect, focus, or effort. We do not teach jiu jitsu or other grappling.

How does the first class work?

The first class is free and private. Your child works one-on-one with a head coach for 45 minutes, learns a real technique, and breaks their first board. You leave with a plan for which class fits your week. Book it online or call the studio.
